About us

Association of Non-Formal Education (ANEV) was created in January 2013 as initiative of people previously involved in European Commission’s programme Youth in Action in various roles. Youth in Action was designed to support non-formal education of young people between 2007-2013, then it was transformed into Erasmus +: Youth. We group experienced youth workers, trainers, project managers or coaches – therefore, we are diverse group of experts, which builds on many years of expereince in youth work.

Our efforts focus on perceiving education from wider kontext than only from the schools‘ perspective. .  For us, non-formal education is a tool, how to change views on education and learning. At the same time, it’s effective tool to stimulate personal development. Non-formal learning means to learn voluntarily, intentionally and from experience.

We contribute to the world where young people select their educational path according to their needs, interests and approaches which suit them.

Mission:

We support quality of youth work by educating youth workers, bringing innovations and European trends in non-formal learning and by combining approaches of non-formal and formal education.
