Jolana Dočkalová

Jolana has been working on education, especially nonformal education, in the Czech-Slovak and European context for more than 20 years. She focuses on the personal and professional growth of young people, capacity building of non-profit organisations, schools and social enterprises. In her work, she uses the principles of non-formal education, mentoring and coaching. She studied cultural and social anthropology, has undergone a number of methodological trainings in the field of education and personal development, and has completed three years of Gestalt coaching training.
She currently teaches those interested in the craft of coaching as part of the accredited Gestal Essence training, and trains teachers from across Europe in the use of the coaching approach and mentoring for the Teacher Academy. She is a trainer for the Marker CS accredited long-term training course for youth workers, and “Marker do škol“, in which she introduces teachers to non-formal education approach and how to use their potential in teaching practice. She is a mentor in schools and a methodologist for the Young Caritas Academy project. Since 2020, she has been working with the network of innovative schools – ScioSchools to develop their new educational concept.
You can meet Jolana for individual, pair and team coaching, both in person and online, as she has her own private coaching practice. She enjoys learning, preferably from each other, thanks to her 3 children she manages to do this every day. More about Jolana also here.
